Hunting at Horseshoe Bend Ranch:
For many years Horseshoe Bend Ranch has been prime Mule Deer hunting ground. Deer love our ranch - we have over 3300 acres of land on the breaks of the Little Klickitat River in Klickitat County, Washington. The Ranch is a fantastic place to hunt with territorial views, wide open spaces and a variety of terrain. The majority of our ground is realatively flat at around 1500' elevation, but elevation varies from 800' in the bottom of the canyon to over 1700' in the higher areas. We front the south side of the Little Klickitat River for several miles and our ground includes features such as draws, valleys, canyons, cliffs, creeks, ponds, fields, meadows and forests.
We are in GMU 388 Grayback and when hunting all the Washington Big Game Hunting Rules apply. Generally we are a 3-point minimum area unless you have drawn a special tag.
Besides deer, we also have turkey hunting, varmit hunting, cougar hunting and fishing on the wild Little Klickitat River. We are also also host to a licensed private Game Reserve. Here released pheasants can be hunted year round.
