![]() Equipment For Sale at the Ranch: At the moment we have no surplus equipment for sale. Equipment We Use at the Ranch: Most of the equipment we use at the ranch is focused on bringing in hay. We have a New Holland TV-140 Bi-Directional tractor, which does most of the work on the ranch when it comes to moving hay. We mow, rake, bale, load hay, move hay and plant with this tractor. Here are a few pictures of it in action: ![]() Our new (to us) tractor arrives in 2010. ![]() Using the TV-140 with a Steffan Systems grapple to load 15 hay bales at a time on to our truck for delivery to the barn. ![]() With a TV-140 you can remove the loader and install a header for cutting hay. You drive in the "reverse" direction - the whole interior of the cab swivels - and cut as if you were in a self-propelled mower. ![]() The ultimate with a TV-140 - we are cutting the wheat stubble after the wheat harvest, and turning into bales of straw in a single pass. The accumulator bunches up 15 small (32" long bales) at one time for easy pickup. ![]() The high reach of the roomy bucket is perfect for tall jobs like bolting together the hoop house in December 2011. ![]() And a view of the tractor from the bucket, this time when we were hanging up the new entrance sign at the ranch.
